Xavier Newton is the Director of Operations at Okada & Company, where his exceptional organizational skills, strategic thinking, and leadership qualities drive success. His foundational experience includes a role as a Portfolio Administrator at Select Equity Group, where he expertly managed fund flow transactions for over 1,100 individual accounts totaling $30 billion across long-only and long/short equity strategies.
Xavier served in the United States Air Force as a Civil Engineer where he was responsible for critical infrastructure advancements during deployments. While deployed in Afghanistan in support of Operation Freedom Sentinel and Resolute Support, and subject to fire attacks, Xavier was distinguished and awarded The Air Force Achievement Medal for outstanding achievement that led to the completion of an anti-terrorism force protection project. His effort established secured communications for the Army reconnaissance counter improvised explosive device mission and safety for aircraft and base infrastructure valued at $172 billion. While deployed to the United Arab Emirates, Xavier completed multiple infrastructure projects in direct support of Seal Team 6. Xavier was awarded Guardsman of the Quarter while serving in the Air Force Honor Guard where he completed over 100 ceremonial details. His duties included performing military honors at venerable military ceremonies and funerals, honoring service members, veterans, and their families with the highest level of respect and professionalism.
A testament to his dedication and drive, Xavier was also a decorated Division-1 athlete at The Citadel Military College where he was awarded All-Conference honors. During his time at The Citadel, Xavier pioneered The Citadel’s Christian Men’s Fellowship program. He holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a Real Estate minor from the O’Malley School of Business, Manhattan College. Above all, Xavier serves as a devout minister at Mount Zion Gospel Tabernacle in West Babylon, New York.
